About ClearCase Studios was founded by Chris, a mechanical and electrical engineer with over 20 years of hands-on experience across the construction and facilities management industry.
For the last decade, Chris served as Commercial Director at a UK M&E contractor, where he was directly responsible for compliance documentation across the project team — from RAMS and method statements through to tender submissions, framework applications and contract mobilisation packs.
ClearCase Studios trade document templates were built out of that experience. Not from a design studio. Not from a template library. From 20 years of sitting on both sides of the table — writing the documents, reviewing them, submitting them, and watching them win or lose contracts.
Why We Built This

The documents available online are almost universally generic. They are built for no particular trade, no particular regulation, and no particular buyer. They look like they were downloaded from a forum in 2011 — because most of them were.
As a Commercial Director, Chris reviewed hundreds of tender submissions from subcontractors and smaller contractors. The ones that lost were not always the most expensive. They were the ones that looked unprepared. Poorly structured RAMS. No COSHH integration. Method statements that said nothing specific. Mobilisation plans that were clearly copied and barely edited.
